As a Health Care Support Worker, you will be working alongside a multi-disciplinary team who support patients in need of rehabilitation and palliative end of life care for the local and wider community. The Health Care Support Worker post is a full-time role, we would be flexible and accept part time applications with a minimum of 22.5 hours. We have a variety of flexible family working patterns listed below; Early - 07.30 - 15.30 Late - 12.30 - 20.30 Long Day - 07:30 - 20:30 Nights - 20.15 - 07.45 Weekend and public holidays at enhanced pay Main duties of the job To assist registered nursing staff in providing high quality individualised nursing care to a clearly defined group of patients, relatives and carers. To assist the multidisciplinary team to aid patients in gaining independence and mobility in preparation for a safedischarge. To participate in providing a range of therapeutic activitiesfor patients. Jersey ward is a 25 bedded ward where the friendly ward team provide a high standard of care for the local population.
