Reporting directly to the Golf Operations Manager, the Golf Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Golf Services Team, ensuring it runs efficiently, is well structured and organised. This will ensure the team meets our members' expectations.
You will coordinate all aspects of the Members and Guests golfing experience, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and member satisfaction. Your leadership will play a key role in maintaining the club’s reputation for excellence and enhancing the overall experience for our Members and Guests.
This is a fast-paced and challenging environment, and the ideal candidate would ideally have previous management experience working within the golf industry, be financially focused, a strong leader, self-motivated, talented and passionate about delivering the highest standards of customer service.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
1. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Golf Service Team.
2. Ensuring Members and Guests are met in a manner that upholds our exacting customer service standards.
3. Foster a welcoming and professional environment for Members, Guests, and Staff.
4. Regularly engage with Members and Guests to drive continuous improvement.
5. Work closely with the wider teams across the estate, planning for and assisting with events.
6. Train, support and supervise the Golf Services Team.
7. Manage operational rotas of the Golf Service Team.
Who are we looking for:
1. Previous experience within Golf management is preferential but not essential.
2. A vast knowledge of the game of golf.
3. Ability to use digital tools to complete daily tasks.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
5. Proactive approach with ability to lead a team and work well on own initiative.
6. Passion for delivering exceptional Customer Service and to be able to do so during busy periods.
7. Smart and well-presented appearance at all times.
