Senior Electronics Hardware Verification Engineer We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electronics Hardware Design Verification Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing automated electronic hardware design verification systems, ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of cutting-edge automotive electronics solutions. This role involves developing custom test hardware and software to verify digital and analogue hardware to automotive standards. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop hardware design verification systems for electronic circuits, ensuring compliance with technical and performance specifications over the required environmental conditions. This will include both test hardware and test software development. Perform and manage verification of hardware PCBAs. Collaborate with design engineers to review hardware designs and propose modifications to improve testability, manufacturability, performance and reliability. Analyse test data, document results, and troubleshoot issues that arise during hardware verification. Support continuous improvement in verification methodologies, processes, and toolsets. Collaborate with design engineers to define verification test plans. Collaborate with manufacturing test engineers to align test methods and software. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field. Extensive experience in the design and development of hardware design verification systems. Proficient in digital and analog circuit verification. Extensive experience in design of verification test hardware and test software. A deep understanding of high-speed, high-reliability digital and analogue circuit designs. Proficient in the use of several of TestStand, LabVIEW, Python, C, C++ for test automation. Proficient in hardware design tools such as Altium. Good knowledge of many of the following: Microcontrollers, FPGAs, SPI, I2C, JTAG and other peripheral interfacing High-speed SerDes such as eDP and MIPI PMICs and other power supplies Photodetectors, laser drivers and related technologies A good understanding of DFM and DFT requirements for robust high-volume production. A good understanding of best-practice design for signal integrity, power integrity and EMC/EMI A thorough understanding of reliability, failure mode and tolerance analysis in design. Experience with the use and automation of oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other test equipment. Experience in design and/or test for high-volume manufacturing. Familiarity with safety and EMC standards for electronic products. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
