All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects. We're looking to recruit a Traffic Manager to join our route wide Interface Management team. This role will be based primarily from Milton Keynes, however travel between site compounds throughout Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire will be required. For this reason, we ask that you hold a full driving license. This role will see you being accountable for the interfaces with all project stakeholders for consenting requirements, so that projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work to help the teams meet key milestones in a compliant manner. We will need you to develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, consent granting bodies such as local authorities, HS2 and the supply chain. You'll work with the Highways Consent Manager to identify future works to profile forecasts and resourcing for EKFB as well as the local authorities. A key part of this role is to coordinate road closures to avoid network clashes. You'll also be supporting the Highways Consent Manager to implement early engagement with consenting granting bodies to ensure consents are granted on time, through pre-applications where the agenda is set in advance, key actions are noted and fed back to relevant parties. We'd expect you to support the team with submission of Schedule 4 notices and also monitoring and tracking consent approvals. We'd need your input into the weekly and monthly reporting of risk and update progress of our consents.
