Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: England, Greater London, Merton Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Secondary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £110 - £130 Per day Job Duties: Supporting students with special educational needs in classroom activities Assisting the class teacher in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Providing one-on-one support to students who require extra help Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning behaviours Required Qualifications: Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (e.g., CACHE Level 3) Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies related to special educational needs Education: Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Experience: Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of different special educational needs and how to support them effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team and independently Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Mental Health First Aid training Working Conditions: Work primarily in a classroom setting Full-time hours, temporary contract May require some flexibility in working hours All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
