Graduate Opportunity: Start Your Career as an Online Surveyor Offshore!
We are seeking a Graduate Online Surveyor to join our team. In this 6-12 month program, you will receive comprehensive training and strong support from the department, helping you develop the skills and experience needed to transition into an Online Surveyor position.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with internal and external applicable HSEQ system.
2. Check that the online software and equipment is operational and prepared for the upcoming survey tasks.
3. Participate in all calibration work as applicable for each work task.
4. Prepare, maintain and file online logs.
5. Ensure that the ROV and Bridge Crew understand the work task.
6. Ensure that ROV, Bridge and Deck Crew are aware of the preparations required for efficient operation (Sensors on ROV etc).
7. Operate the data logging system and ensure all relevant survey data is logged as required.
8. Operate the navigation computer and distribute relevant information on the graphic display to bridge and ROV.
9. Monitor navigation and survey equipment, ensuring all sensors and survey equipment are fully operational.
10. Monitor data quality.
11. Deployment and operation of transponders, water level recorders, CTD profiler etc.
12. Prepare upcoming work tasks.
13. Ensure all internal and external (contractual) requirements for applicable projects related to data acquisition are met.
14. Inform Senior Surveyor about technical deviations and problems in accordance with the ordinances of the Company.
15. Ensure that the survey data acquisition is performed in accordance with customer and DeepOcean specifications.
Qualifications
Degree in Survey/Marine Science/Marine Engineering oriented subjects.
Proficient verbal and written communication in English.
