An opportunity has arisen to offer existing Addiction Services staff the opportunity to undertake the Team Leader role for a Fixed term Post of initially 12 months.
Addiction Services provide specialist treatment for people with drug and/or alcohol problems across Fife and are delivered from three main localities – Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Cameron Hospital and Lynebank Hospital – providing treatment to the Fife-wide population.
As Team Leader, you will hold responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and operational management of a geographical team within Addiction Services. You will lead the teams on the development of services whilst maintaining a systematic approach to care and treatment for people who may be experiencing difficulties with drug and/or alcohol use.
The team works in close partnership with colleagues across Fife to achieve the objectives of the Fife Wide Health & Social Care Partnership Strategic Plan, ensuring an integrated approach to the delivery of compassionate care. Being an open, honest, approachable and responsible individual with an attitude to support excellent team working will be essential, as will understanding how to develop, grow and nurture strong interpersonal relationships. These will be critical values and qualities which will develop and drive high performance to ensure the delivery of the best care experience possible.
This is a demanding specialist role, requiring high levels of professional skills to work effectively across a complex and competing multi-agency environment, where partnership working is essential. Excellent communication skills, collaborative leadership and highly developed interpersonal skills are a prerequisite to meeting all of the above.
The ability to travel across Fife is essential.
You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, but with occasional flexibility expected in line with service needs.
