The Radiology team at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI) have an exciting opportunity for four CT trained Radiographers to join our team working on three CT scanners and one MRI scanner.
At the RLI, we have introduced a full 7 day CT service with dedicated night Radiographers to undertake trauma and emergency imaging, as well as in-patients. Shift times will be 7:30am to 8:30pm, worked over three days per week, Monday to Sunday, with the possibility of set weekdays.
Suitable applicants must be patient centred, caring and professional with recent CT experience or a willingness to train in CT, a Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography and be registered with the HCPC.
Experience in MR is advantageous but not a requirement.
Working within the CT department at the RLI provides opportunities to gain excellent experience in a wide range of CT imaging procedures including trauma, MSK, neurological, vascular, paediatrics and oncology. We also offer Radiographer led CTC, and cardiac imaging. The Radiology department is equipped with Sectra PACS and RIS. The CT department is equipped with three GE CT scanners.
