An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Management and Reporting Accountant to join our high-performing finance team to support the continued growth of the business. Reporting to the Financial Management and Reporting Manager, you will play an integral role in delivering key management information and analysis, ensuring accurate reporting within deadlines. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and experience in contributing to high-quality management information to a range of stakeholders within the business.
We are looking for a technically strong individual, who can demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships and communicate well across the team and the wider business.
Key focus areas of your role will be:
* Responsible for the preparation of key internal reporting requirements, including supporting the Business review and Cost centre reporting process, Cashflow forecasting and Treasury reporting.
* Calculation and preparation of key accounting adjustments, including accruals, prepayments, revenue, and tax adjustments.
* Maintenance of fixed assets register.
* Maintenance of complex financial modelling, with opportunities to develop and create new models.
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Develop strong working relationships with the business.
* Assist in continued development of the financial controls & reporting.
* Assist with ad hoc project work as required by the business.

Qualifications, skills and experience
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with at least 2 years PQE (could suit a first-time mover from practice).
* Experience of reporting within a large company or plc environment desirable.
* Good understanding of IFRS frameworks.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Logical mindset; able to solve problems with an ‘eye for detail’.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to summarise information effectively.
* Organisation and time management skills with ability to prioritise.
* Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
