Ourclient is an independent dealer group which operates a network of61 dealership sites in the UK and channel islands. Our client arenow looking for a Workshop Controller for their Dealership inAberdeen.
JobPurpose:
Reporting intothe Aftersales Manager you will be responsible for driving thestandard in customer car leading and motivating the staff andfacilities of the Workshop efficiently to ensure a high level ofproductivity andquality.
Youllmotivate technicians to ensure targets are being met as well asensuring a high level of productivity and quality of service isbeing delivered. You will also be responsible for tracking theprogress of vehicles through the Workshop and liaising with ServiceReception thereby maintaining customersatisfaction.
KeyResponsibilities andAccountabilities:
* Negotiateand agree all targets and Key Performance Indicators to deliver therequired results from the workshop.
* Allocatework to Technicians as appropriate to ensure the smooth running ofthe workshop and the most profitable customerfocused results.
* Liaisewith the Service department and provide technical advice tocolleagues and customers.
* Ensure allincoming work is planned and managed effectively.
* Communicateeffectively with colleagues and customers as part of delivering anexceptional customerexperience.
* Managecoach and support the technical team.
* Ensurerobust quality checks stock maintenance and management audit andcompliance and Health & Safety in line with companypolicies andprotocols.
Requirements
EssentialSkills andExperience:
* ITliterate and familiar with webbased process and stock managementsystems.
* Evidenceof previous service department experience.
* Evidenceof coaching and motivating a team.
* Experienceworking as a fully qualified technician (preferred level 3)
* Fulldriving license held for a minimum of 6 months with fewer than 9penalty points.
* Evidenceof Right to work in the UK
