Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client, who provide healthcare to patients with long-term conditions, rare diseases and cancer. This leading company have been supporting patients for over 30 years, giving them the life-changing treatments they need in the comfort of their own homes across the UK and Europe. At present, we are looking for a Specialist Community Nurse to join their team covering North East Scotland including Aberdeen, Dundee and Elgin.
The Role
As a Community Nurse, you will be caring for an average of 5 patients per day referred privately and by the NHS, who will receive a range of IV therapies in the comfort of their own homes. Due to the nature of this role, we are looking for a kind and compassionate individual with excellent communication skills, to ensure patients are comfortable and fully supported throughout. This is an extremely rewarding role where you can really make a difference.
There is a highly desirable shift pattern which will majority fall between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. If you do work evenings or on a weekend, this is paid at a generous enhanced rate.
If successful, you will be given a comprehensive induction where you will meet your line manager, complete mandatory training, learn the company’s way of working and be provided with all equipment and uniform so you will be ready and confident to hit the ground running on your first full day.
Requirements
1. Qualified Nurse with NMC Registration
2. Competent in administering IV therapies, venepuncture and sub-cut injections
3. Strong cannulation skills is advantageous
4. Full UK driving licence
5. Ability to work autonomously
6. Kind and compassionate nature
Salary & Benefits
In return, there is a generous salary of up to £37,960 per annum dependent on experience. My client is also offering a competitive benefits package including:

Interview Process
This is a two-stage interview process. The first stage will be an initial 15 minute telephone screening call. If successful you will be invited for a formal interview with the Hiring Manager, and they can accommodate either face-to-face or MS Teams.
