Job Description Job Title: Service and Commissioning Engineer Location: Stone, Stafford Salary: £35 ’ 000 to £ 45 ’ 000 (based on skills, training and competence) Hours: 37.5 hours, 9am-5pm, Monday - Friday Contract/Permanent: Permanent Site Based/Office/Remote: Office Start Date: ASAP Job Overview: As a Service and Commissioning Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of the gas sector while advancing your own professional journey. Our client has truly innovated the gas industry and have paved the way developing technologies and solutions used throughout the UK. The next chapter is to aid in the gas industries transition to net zero and are looking for passionate people to join the team. Responsibilities: • Undertake system calibration, repairs and maintenance activities on client sites, addressing any concerns arising throughout the process • Undertake system commissioning on client sites, addressing any concerns arising from the commissioning process • Test communications and conduct end to end testing • Communicate and provide technical support to the client to address customer specific issues • Provide technical support to Installation Technicians and Service Engineers to address in-house issues, deploying all forms of communication • Provide commissioning advice to Design Engineers in the development of the commissioning strategy and plan Requirements: • Minimum o f 5 years’ experience of commissioning and/or servicing equipment on client sites • 2 years’ experience working independently i.e without local oversight management • HNC/HND in either Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering or a related subject • Ability to understand and interpret electrical or mechanical drawings, able to advise clients on the drawings and specifications • Knowledge of PLC controllers and pressure control systems Development and Career Progression: • Tailored development plans to elevate your technical competencies and deepen your grasp of industry dynamics. • Cross disciplinary training to broaden your perspective across various facets of the gas industry. • Full support for pursuing pertinent certification and support to pursue further education on sustainable technologies.
