Salary: M1 - UPS1 plus SEN 1 Allowance. Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a Teaching Qualification.

We are a specialist primary school based on two sites; Blythdale and Ashdale. We are looking to appoint a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our growing team. We welcome applicants with experience of working with children with Social & Communication needs. The successful candidate will lead teaching and learning in the classroom at one of our sites and have an excellent understanding of child development.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with knowledge and understanding of working with pupils with a range of needs. They will have experience of using a range of teaching methods in order to engage, motivate and inspire the children within an innovative curriculum model. The successful candidate will be a reflective practitioner who strives to meet the individual needs of the children.
The selection process will take place over two days, all candidates who are shortlisted will attend both days. The first day will be in classrooms and candidates will be leading activities and spending the day with staff and children. The second day will be the formal interview in a slot during the day.
