Coyle Personnel, one of the UK’s leading family-run staffing solutions providers, is currently seeking a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work within an education environment in North West London.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a small team across two buildings, maintaining a new education building and an existing education building in North Wembley.
Role Summary:
As a Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance work within plant rooms and communal areas. As the lead across the buildings, you will play an integral part in maintaining relationships with end users, as well as managing the maintenance team. This role requires a positive person with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
2. Managing a team of 2 fabric engineers.
3. Completing all necessary paperwork.
4. Ensuring all contractors' paperwork is in place prior to carrying out additional works.
5. Acting as technical support to the maintenance team.
6. Advising the end user of issues, advising on technical specs, and liaising with new and upcoming works.
7. There is an element of hands-on working, ensuring the technical elements within the project are managed correctly.
8. Responding to emergency maintenance tasks as instructed by the management and support teams.
9. Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Good all-round building maintenance experience.
2. Electrically qualified – NVQ Level 3 and 17th / 18th edition.
3. Previous experience within an education or commercial building maintenance environment is essential.
