Financial Crime Business Analyst
London – hybrid working
Salary - £60,000 - £80,000
Start Date: Immediate (Fixed-term contract with potential for perm).
We are looking for an experienced Financial Crime Business Analyst to join a growing team, working on critical projects for a leading Financial Services client.
This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, engaging with senior stakeholders across the business to drive improvements in financial crime compliance processes, on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with stakeholders to collect, review, and interpret business requirements.
* Convert regulatory and operational needs into clear, actionable functional requirements.
* Contribute to User Acceptance Testing by creating test scenarios and collaborating with testing teams.
* Carry out post-launch reviews to confirm successful implementation and address any gaps.
* Develop insightful management reports and analyse trends to support strategic decisions.
What We’re Looking For:
* A proactive, independent thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated experience in managing change across people, processes, and technology.
* Strong knowledge of the customer lifecycle, including compliance with KYC/AML standards.
* Hands-on experience with CLM and KYC tools, including systems for screening and transaction monitoring.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
* Competence in data analysis and presentation; familiarity with SQL, XML, and UNIX is advantageous but not mandatory.
