Consilium Recruit is proudly supporting Darwin Group with its exciting growth plans. They are seeking a Procurement and Strategy Manager for Civils on a permanent and full-time basis. The role requires professional experience within civils and groundwork including design and commercial content.

Key Responsibilities
The Procurement and Strategy Manager for Civils will be professionally experienced in civils / groundworks and will be well versed in design and commercial functionalities.
You will be an emotionally intelligent, organised individual who is capable of autonomous working and team working.
It is hugely preferable that applicants understand Building Regulations, licenses, sectional agreements and understand the value of civils / groundworks developed via experience in estimating or quantity surveying.
The Person
The Procurement and Strategy Manager will possess excellent communication skills and understand, interpret, and advise on ground surveys, sectional agreements and designs.
You will be responsible for leading design / procurement workshops / meetings with client teams, consultants and subcontractors to ensure we meet statutory compliances.
You will support the coordination / clash detection of designs received from consultants / subcontractors.
The Procurement and Strategy Manager – Civils will be responsible for the scope for consultants, coordinating enquiries, normalising and clarifying quotations and negotiating costs.
You will establish the scope of works for civils / externals works packages, coordinating enquiries, normalising and clarifying quotations, negotiating costs and making recommendations.
You will provide the support function to project delivery teams design and commercial teams (continuity through from Pre-Construction to placing order and any variations / design updates).
