We are seeking an experienced Event Manager with creativity at heart and an unwavering focus on delivering high-quality events that meet the Supercar Driver standard, ensuring exceptional customer service and guest experience.
With plans to build an in-house events team around the successful candidate, this role will initially take the lead on planning and executing a wide range of events, including regional breakfast meets, drive outs, brand collaborations, and large-scale exhibitions and showcases.
Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, the successful candidate will also work closely with the marketing, media, and creative teams, as well as those delivering the Secret Meet and our Driving Tours.
Management experience is essential, as this role will evolve to include building, overseeing, and managing an in-house events team.
The role is primarily based across Supercar Driver’s offices in Sheffield and Cheshire, with hybrid working available. Travel to key events is vital, and flexibility to work weekends is required (with weekend working compensated).

Duties & Responsibilities
Event Planning & Strategy
* Oversee, manage, and execute the full 2025 event calendar.
* Define event objectives and goals.
* Develop event concepts, themes, and long-term strategies for 2026 and 2027.
* Manage budgeting and financial planning for events.
* Develop detailed event timelines and schedules.
* Identify and approach relevant event partners and sponsors.
Logistics & Coordination
* Select and book venues.
* Coordinate event staffing.
* Manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
* Oversee event setup and on-the-day operations.
* Handle guest management, including attendance tracking and waitlist management.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in event management, ideally with high-end, luxury, or automotive events. Candidates from broader event industries with relevant expertise are encouraged to apply.
* Management experience (managing a team)
* Sales experience is a plus but not essential
* Excellent organisational skills
* Capacity to multi-task several on-going projects at one time and able to define priorities
* Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
* Strong communication and negotiation abilities
* Creative problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Budget management and financial planning experience
* Proficiency in event management software and tools
* Excellent IT skills and proficiency in Spreadsheets and Word are required
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Driving Licence required
