Role Overview
The Customer Service Advisor will portray and maintain a professional, attentive, and helpful service to the client database, delivering positive experiences on all contacts, representing the company politely and efficiently, and managing their allocated customer portfolio.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Handle enquiries from clients and customers regarding prices, stock availability, temperature deviations, PODs, C of A documents, SOR enquiries, product PIP/EAN, inventory discrepancies, and other departmental requests.
2. Communicate effectively regarding failed deliveries, polar speed interactions, EORI declarations, and exception reports.
3. Manage incoming and outgoing calls, adhere to health and safety guidelines, and be flexible with working hours to meet company needs.
4. Perform additional tasks as directed within the organisation to support business objectives.
Person Specification / Competencies
Essential
* Pleasant disposition and good people skills
* Excellent telephone manner
* Strong analytical and organisational skills
* Computer literacy in MS Office and in-house systems (full training provided)
* Good communication skills and ability to work independently, proposing solutions and working under pressure
* Ability to learn quickly and accurately
* Effective time management and team player
* GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English
Desirable
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment
