Our Opportunity We are looking for a Team Leader to support the APRU Manager in driving delivery and ensuring that production/repair items are progressed efficiently. Our key focus is to make sure we look after our people and always ensure we provide a consistent quality product to support all our UK & Export customers. Some of the key responsibilities for this role are detailed below: Ensure workplace management is adhered to for areas covered. Support the APRU in resolution of problems to achieving Quality Cost Delivery (QCD) requirements and escalation where required Encourage teams to identify and implement improvements using lean methodology. Contribute to the generation of estimates for new build and repairs. Recruit, lead, develop, encourage and support the team. Point of contact for capturing process/paperwork issues and education of process with team. Responsible for managing the performance of the team, particularly initial discussions with transition to APRU manager as appropriate / necessary. About You We are looking for an organised individual with experience of successfully managing teams in a manufacturing environment. Someone with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and someone with the ability to work independently and lead a team effectively. In addition to this: Initiative to define and implement improvement activities. Build relationships across industry and the wider business Attention to detail and ability to ensure all work is carried out accurately and conscientiously within quality and governance. An understanding of MRP/PDM system principles would be advantageous. This role will require SC Clearance. It would be advantageous if currently held, however, if not currently held, it is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance.
