Note: As part of the interview process, all applicants will be assessed on the following: Jump/dive into deep water. Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back In deep Water, tread water for 30 seconds. Surface dive to the floor of the pool Climb out unaided without ladders/steps and where pool design permits. Note: Successful candidates who do not hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) must be available to attend an NPLQ course / assessment on the following 6 consecutive dates: Monday 7th to Saturday 12th April 2025 - 8:30am 5:30pm The content of the course will be a mixture of skills and theoretical knowledge in both a classroom and pool side setting.
