We are looking for motivated and dynamic individuals with a passion for delivering excellent customer service to join our busy contact centre in Glasgow with positions available within our Repayments team. Our Repayments Officers within our Repayment department are responsible for communicating and negotiating affordable repayment plans with customers who have been overpaid on their student finance or customers who have an arrears balance when repaying their student loan from overseas. It is expected that a Repayments Officer shows empathy and understanding to customers who are potentially vulnerable or vulnerable within company and legislation guidelines and offers to signpost customers to appropriate support. What you bring: Experience in working in a customer-focussed role, preferably within a high-volume contact centre or processing environment. A minimum of grade C GCSE English and Maths (or Standard grade) or equivalent level qualification. Excellent IT skills, with significant experience working with MS Office, email and multiple software platforms. The ability to use your own initiative whilst working within defined guidelines and adapt to changing working environments, in a positive manner.
