12 Month FTC Internal Communications Content Specialist Our people are the heart of easyJet – from our frontline teams who are the face of the airline to everyone who support them in our office locations across our network. We know our crew want more visual and snappy communications that keep them informed of what’s happening and allows them to recognise the role they play in the success of the airline. This role will help us to make sure our people are informed, engaged, and feel proud to be part of easyJet. We’re moving into a new phase for our internal communications strategy and looking to build on our expertise to reinvigorate our existing channels by creating more engaging and accessible content for our audiences. This is a new role in our internal communications team and will play a central part in helping us make that change. You’ll help guide and inspire those you work with and develop memorable content that wins moments with everyone across the network. We’re looking for a solution focused team player, willing to share knowledge and discuss approaches and tactics but also able to work independently in a high performing team. What You'll Be Doing Join our internal communications team as the content specialist, playing a pivotal role in shaping our channels and content. In this role you’ll collaborate closely with the wider team to plan and produce purposeful written and mixed media content that enhances understanding of our strategic priorities. You’ll be comfortable working with leadership to create compelling content aligning with their communication objectives. You’ll be a people person, taking the time to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the airline to develop tailored content for our internal audience. You’ll be the go-to person for all things content - providing valuable guidance to colleagues, and enhancing the effectiveness of written communications through measurement and feedback. Working closely with our Multimedia Content Specialist, you will be responsible for finding the stories that our people want to hear, and turning these into a mix of written and visual communications. You’ll also support our wider internal communications team with developing great content and supporting the delivery of key strategic campaigns throughout the year. You’ll also manage the internal communications content and channels plan – ensuring that we have an ‘Air Traffic Control’ view of all internal communications activity in the business. Finally, you’ll bring a journalistic flair with demonstratable experience in written communication – both feature length and snappy updates. You’ll also be familiar with basic media production, and able to easily capture and edit video/audio for internal use so that you can support our Multimedia Content Specialist. You’ll be extremely organised and able to prioritise workloads, able to communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders, and meet tight deadlines. You’ll be adaptable and able to work cross-functionally in a matrixed business with multiple stakeholders. You’ll know what makes great content, and you’ll be relentless about improving how we create and share content with easyJet colleagues, fostering curiosity and a willingness to explore new content creation approaches.
