About the Role
Following an internal promotion, we are seeking a Senior Regional Security Manager to oversee multiple client services and manage large-scale manned guarding contracts exceeding 4,000 scheduled hours per week across the Midlands. Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Strategic Management
1. Oversee and manage multiple client sites, ensuring the efficient deployment of security personnel and absence mitigation.
2. Conduct risk assessments and implement strategic planning and scheduling to meet client needs.
3. Structure and manage your working week to balance on-site visits and remote operational oversight.
People Management & Client Relations
1. Lead and develop a large team of security personnel, ensuring high performance and compliance.
2. Build strong relationships with clients, gaining their confidence through excellent service delivery.
3. Work closely with HR, Recruitment, Training, and the Director of Operations to maintain service standards.
Compliance & Reporting
1. Ensure all sites meet health and safety regulations and mitigate risks related to security officer tasks.
2. Maintain compliance documentation and training records for all assigned locations.
3. Collate operational data and produce monthly reports and presentations for senior management.
Minimum Requirements
1. Minimum 4 years in a Regional management role within the security/manned guarding sector.
2. SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority) – Essential.
3. Strong knowledge of risk assessment, strategic planning, scheduling, and HR processes.
4. Ability to collate data and produce reports for monthly client and management presentations.
5. Proven people management skills with the ability to develop teams, enhance service delivery and manage performance issues through HR processes.
6. Experience maintaining health & safety compliance across multiple sites.
7. Self-motivated and able to work independently, structuring workload effectively.
8. Strong relationship-building skills to maintain client confidence and satisfaction.
9. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Midlands region.
