Senior HR Advisor
Location: Leeds - Hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home
Salary: £32,000 - £35,000 per annum
Contract: 12 months fixed term
At Another, we are currently looking to hire a Senior HR Advisor to join a well-known and accomplished business in West Yorkshire. Reporting into the HR Director, you will provide a wide range of HR generalist support across the business.
This opportunity is for an experienced senior HR professional who has delivered across all aspects of HR, is solutions-focused, and has a strong bias for HR systems and compliance.
The Role
1. Working with the HR Director to deliver on wider HR initiatives and projects.
2. Coaching and providing advice and guidance to managers and employees across all regions on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
3. Providing efficient administrative support, continually developing, managing, and reviewing administrative processes and procedures.
4. Acting as the first point of contact for HR-related enquiries.
5. Collating, monitoring, and providing advice on sickness absence records and owning the sickness absence management process and procedures.
6. Reviewing HR policies and processes to ensure alignment with HR and business strategy.
7. Ensuring the business manages its people appropriately to adopt best practices and comply with company values and employment legislation.
8. Providing a high-quality service and acting as a trusted HR Advisor while building credible stakeholder relationships.
9. Providing HR administrative support as required.
10. Supporting the implementation and optimisation of HR systems and processes.
11. Working with the HR Director to support the creation of quality controls and compliance on key HRIS workflows, improving processes and procedures when necessary.
12. Supporting the wider HR team to ensure integration and training is delivered.
13. Optimising the ability to provide meaningful data for the business.
Skills Required
1. Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards it.
2. Proven experience of working as an HR Advisor, ideally gained in a small to medium business.
3. Previous experience supporting or leading the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
4. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and managing complex ER cases.
5. Experience of supporting change projects would be ideal.
6. Strong experience of building relationships and managing stakeholders.
7. Confident with IT systems, Microsoft Office, and HR systems.
8. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
9. Proven experience of being solutions-focused while delivering change and creating efficiencies.
