The programme provides young people with an insight into working within uniformed services. It provides exciting and unique opportunities to develop skills in teamwork and citizenship through undertaking Firefighter and Police activities such as Ladder Drills, Interview techniques, Hose drills, uniformed foot drill and more. The Joint Cadets at Buxton Fire Station runs for three hours on a Wednesday from 18:00 - 21:00 hours, with events during school holidays this includes summer holidays and it consists of 15 young people of which you could be one.
