This role puts you right in the middle of it. Youll analyse and improve the database layer of a live mobile platform that spans apps, APIs, CRMs, and SQL backends. Youll investigate performance issues, optimise queries, and support testing and releases. Youll also contribute to knowledge sharing and work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to keep services running smoothly. Youve worked in database analysis, platform support, or application support, and youre confident working directly with SQL. Youre good at spotting what matters, comfortable switching between detail and big picture, and dont wait to be told what to do. If youve worked in telecoms, great. Responsibilities & Experience Analyse and troubleshoot database performance across a suite of telecoms applications Take ownership of database issues, triage faults, and communicate clearly with internal teams Confident working with SQL Server 2016 (or MySQL, Informix, Oracle) Strong in SQL query tuning, indexing strategies, and schema-level performance Support UAT/OAT testing and ensure database integrity in release cycles Good grasp of relational data models and common bottlenecks (e.g. locking, indexing, poorly written queries) nufuture recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
