An Ofsted rated GOOD secondary school in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of French to join their permanent staff starting in September 2024. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and effective French lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan, prepare, and assess students' work to ensure effective learning.
* Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and resources.
* Support and inspire students to achieve their full potential in French.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and professional development activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A degree in French or a related field.
* Experience teaching French at secondary level, preferably with experience in Key Stage 4.
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for French language and culture.
* Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and a willingness to participate in school life.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.
* Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning and teaching.
