What skills and experience we're looking for
The directors of the Mater Christi Trust and governors of St Bernard’s Catholic High School in Barrow-in-Furness are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher.
St Bernard’s Catholic High School is in a beautiful corner of Cumbria, a stone’s throw from the lake District National Park – an incredible place to live and work. We are a school where all are ‘known and loved’. We are proud to be part of the Mater Christi Trust comprising of 16 schools (and growing) across Cumbria and Lancashire, providing incredible opportunities for growth and development for our staff.
Our ideal candidate is an experienced, faith-filled Senior Leader, who is highly motivated, compassionate and caring, wants to make a real difference to the lives of young people, and can support the newly appointed headteacher to lead the school on a journey towards creating an outstanding Catholic School.
What the school offers its staff
This is a great opportunity to work at a well-resourced school that has good results, and work alongside talented staff, wonderful students and supportive parents, governors and Trust who are focussed and united in their ambition for St Bernard's.
