Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching to students within the Key Stage 2 phase. Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies. Provide a nurturing, inclusive learning environment that meets the individual needs of all pupils. Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support to promote continuous improvement. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for all students. Contribute to the wider school community through involvement in extra-curricular activities, events, and school improvement initiatives. The Successful Candidate: Will have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and experience teaching at Key Stage 2 level. Possess a passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering outstanding education. Be proactive, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage children in their learning. Have a strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment processes. Be able to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the development of every child. Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school community. Desirable: Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a primary school setting. A strong interest in professional development and furthering teaching practice.
