Postal Services Account Analyst

The role of the Postal Account Analyst is to be responsible for the day to day management and development of relationships with APS’s postal service providers, including the daily processing of Postal Purchase orders and reconciliation.
The successful candidate will act as point of contact to key internal clients and production departments, coordinating responses and feedback to provide solutions to customer and internal postal queries.
As a Postal Services Account Analyst, you must be able to work within a fast-paced, high-volume environment and be accustomed to dealing with queries and liaising with Production and Account teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communicates effectively and responds to both client and internal queries punctually and professionally.
2. Day to day liaison and monitoring of all activity on APS Postal accounts including Purchase orders/Invoice reconciliation.
3. Deliver against internal KPIs and SLAs and other targets to meet contractual obligations.
4. Develop and maintain a rapport with key stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure value-added service provision.
5. Establish and maintain relationships with day-to-day commercial management teams, applying a commercial and value-added approach to all APS postal activity.
6. Support preparation of development plans from account management.
7. Deliver business and account objectives through adherence to business processes and systems.
8. Seek to understand the APS Postal Proposition.
9. Follow APS and industry best practice guidelines.
Skills Required
* Skilled in Word, Excel, and experience with Management Information Systems would be helpful.
* A general understanding of print production and postal markets.
* Understanding of contract requirements: SLAs, KPIs, etc.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
* Proactive approach – always willing to learn and improve processes to ensure efficiency for the business.
* Ability to communicate efficiently and build rapport with departments across the wider business.
* People Management skills, required to liaise with colleagues within your account team as well as internal departments and external Account teams.
* Manage workload effectively, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge, grow and develop.
* Flexible in your approach to workload and task allocation to ensure demands are met.
* Identify and maximize cost-saving opportunities.
