Static Facilities Electrical Building Maintenance Engineer

Salary: Up to £40,000
CBW are delighted to be working with one of the UK's leading manufacturing companies in the recruitment of an Electrical bias Facilities Engineer for a manufacturing site in the North Lanarkshire area. This is a first-class opportunity to work client-side to be responsible for the facilities electrical building maintenance.
Hours of work: Monday - Friday - 37.5 hours
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for providing a first response for breakdowns or faults, ensuring priority targets are met for reinstating critical systems and aiming to achieve first fix/right first time to return systems to operation.
2. Service and maintenance of all Building Services and M&E plant equipment.
3. Day to day liaison with the client in the planning and delivery of onsite servicing, repairs, maintenance, and calibration; including diagnosing and repairing faults.
4. Determine equipment and plant upgrade needs for implementation and inform management in a timely manner, reporting possible future failures, disturbances, and other opportunities for improvement.
5. Ensure customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers, and service recipients.
6. Carry out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks as per company policy and procedures.
Experience & Qualifications:
1. Previous work experience in servicing and maintaining building services, gas, and electrical systems undertaking pre-planned maintenance and statutory compliance maintenance completion.
2. Strong problem-solving capabilities, interrogating complex faults within large commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.
3. 17th/18th Edition Qualification.
4. Ability to work on own initiative and/or as part of a team.
5. Ability to work safely at all times and the ability to communicate and report on Statutory Health & Safety or compliance requirements/regulations.
