Lighthouse Hotel Management are currently looking for a Reservations Supervisor to join our team at The Halyard Rope Walks, Liverpool. Our Reservations Team is appointed to respond to all room reservation requests with the aim of converting each request into a confirmed booking using the selling strategy set by the hotel. This role offers a schedule of 40 hours spread over 5 working days and plays an integral part in maximising the hotel’s profitability.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide direction and leadership to Reservations staff, assisting them to achieve their potential, closing performance gaps and achieving overall departmental objectives.
2. Drive daily activities including guest profile updates, room allocation, changes to reservations, group input, VIP & IA through allocation of duties to increase accuracy and efficiency of information disseminated throughout the hotel regarding guests.
3. Assist the reservations manager team in achieving maximum room rate, yield and conversions.
4. Control rooms inventory including allocation and reservations to areas of maximum yield.
5. Support the reservations team through coaching, mentoring and training to improve their upselling skills to improve average room rate and overall yield penetration.
6. Ensure effective communication within the department on promotional activities within the hotel, including food & beverage activities and in-room promotions to assist in achieving/exceeding our revenue goals.
7. Analyse and take immediate actions on a monthly basis to assist in improving Hotel performance scores, Trip Advisor reviews/rating and other online engines for guest satisfaction feedback.

1. Demonstrated experience in people leadership or shift supervision.
2. Knowledge of the hotel property management systems OPERA.
3. Demonstrated previous experience working in the Reservations or Front Office department.
