As the Head of Content, you will spearhead the transformation of Super Group's content strategy across all platforms. Your mission is to elevate our content to new heights of quality and engagement, unlocking the full potential of our sponsorship initiatives through strategic activation. You'll drive the creation of compelling, shareable content that captivates our audience and has the potential to go viral.
Your role will be pivotal in developing innovative, platform-specific campaigns that resonate deeply with our customers and drive meaningful engagement. By leveraging data-driven insights and cutting-edge content testing methodologies, you'll ensure our content not only reaches but truly connects with our target audience, setting new benchmarks for effectiveness in the industry.
What you’ll be doing
As part of your role, your responsibilities will include:
* Develop and implement a comprehensive, group-wide content strategy that aligns with our brand identity and business objectives.
* Lead the activation and optimisation of Super Group's sponsorship initiatives, ensuring maximum value and engagement from these partnerships.
* Create and oversee the production of high-quality, platform-specific content that drives engagement and resonates with our target audience.
* Implement data-driven content testing methodologies to identify and replicate successful content formats and themes.
* Develop strategies for creating viral content, leveraging current trends and innovative approaches to increase brand visibility and engagement.
* Develop and manage Super Group's ambassador and influencer strategy, including identifying key influencers, creating content strategies for partnerships, and measuring their effectiveness.
* Collaborate closely with the Head of the Studio to ensure that visual and written content, including influencer-generated content, are aligned and complementary.
* Work with marketing teams to create campaigns tailored to the specifics of various marketing platforms, optimising for each channel's unique characteristics and effectively leveraging influencer partnerships.
* Establish and maintain a content calendar that aligns with business goals, marketing campaigns, industry events, and influencer activities.
* Implement and oversee content performance metrics, using data-driven insights to continuously improve content strategy and execution across all channels, including influencer partnerships.
* Stay abreast of content trends, platform algorithm changes, emerging technologies, and influencer marketing best practices that could impact content creation and distribution.
* Manage and develop a team of content creators, writers, strategists, and influencer relationship managers, fostering a culture of creativity and data-driven decision making.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure content supports broader business initiatives and customer needs, integrating influencer and ambassador programs where appropriate.
* Oversee the development of content guidelines and best practices to ensure consistency and quality across all brands, channels, and influencer partnerships.
* Manage content-related budgets, resources, and external partnerships, including influencer contracts, to maximize ROI on content investments.

Essential skills you’ll bring to the table
The necessary skills that we require for this role include:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field; advanced degree is a plus
* 10+ years of experience in content strategy and creation, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
* Proven track record of developing and implementing successful content strategies, preferably in the gaming, entertainment, sport or digital industries
* Experience in activating and leveraging sponsorship initiatives
* Strong understanding of various marketing platforms and their content requirements
* Experience with data-driven content optimisation and A/B testing
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
* Strong strategic thinking and ability to align content with business objectives
* Creativity and innovation in content ideation and execution. Demonstrated ability to create viral or highly engaging content
* Proficiency in content management systems and analytics tools
* Experience with video content creation and distribution strategies
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Adaptability to rapidly changing digital landscapes and emerging platforms
