An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created Unit Manager, within the Neurology Day Case Unit at UHCW.
The Day Case Unit supports patients receiving Disease Modifying Treatments for Multiple Sclerosis.
The unit is currently open Monday to Friday but the successful applicant will be involved in further development of the service to include hours of operation and drug therapies offered and will work closely and collaboratively with the wider MS Team
A highprofile,accessibleand responsive leader with clinical, staff and service whois abletomake informed decisions within their own area and scope of professionalpractice, involving patients and public to ensure agreed standards, objectives and targets are met. The leader should be able to provide exceptional treatment and care to patients throughout their critical illness. Overall responsibilityforthemanagementof the clinicalarea,providing clearclinicalleadershipontheunit, ensuringthedeliveryof highquality patientcare, ability toset, monitor and maintain standardsand effectively utilises resources without direct supervision.
