This role has a starting salary of £60,033 per annum, based on a 36 hour working week.
This is a 12-month Secondment opportunity. Please seek your line manager's approval before applying for this role.
We are excited to be hiring a new Team Manager (SW or OT qualified) to join our fantastic Epsom & Ewell Locality team. The team is based in Fairmount with a move to Epsom Library taking place shortly. The role is hybrid and full-time staff need to be in the office at least 2 days a week.

About the Role
As a Team Manager you will be leading a dynamic team of over fifty people delivering adult social care services to the local community. You will also be part of a wider management team ensuring CQC compliance, all within the context of the Surrey Way.
As the Team Manager you will ensure frontline care services are of a high quality and customer-focused, whilst taking responsibility for leading the team and managing resources. Your responsibilities will also include putting measures in place for risk management and business continuity, building relationships with partner agencies and service providers and contributing to service improvement initiatives.
Shortlisting Criteria
To be considered for shortlisting for this position, your application will clearly evidence the following:
* A professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or another related discipline, along with registration with the relevant professional body
* Experience of successful management of staff, including managing performance and development while successfully addressing conduct, attendance and performance capability issues
* Skill in managing budgets, with substantial experience of managing the delivery and improvement of social care
* Sound understanding of personalisation and strengths-based assessments
* Significant knowledge and/or experience of health and social care
* Direct experience of delivering adult social care services and a comprehensive and applied knowledge of adult social care legislation
Surrey has both urban and rural areas and social care colleagues will be expected to have a valid driving licence to drive in the UK, access to a vehicle and be willing to travel across a wide geographical area.
