To provide leadership to and act as a role model for the support staff of PharmacyUHB Ltd. To fulfil the statutory responsibilities as required by the GPhC and DoH. To provide professional leadership and advice to all pharmacy staff working for the company. To ensure the pharmacy service provided is patient focused. To provide clinical and professional leadership and supervision of the pharmacy team, with appropriate record keeping. To contribute to the identification of appropriate opportunities and support for training and development of pharmacy staff and monitoring that they are acting in accordance with the Code of Ethics and requirements of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). To contribute to appropriate processes for assessing competency of pharmacy staff. To contribute to appraisals resulting in the formulation of appropriate training plans for all members of the pharmacy staff team. To contribute to the development and maintenance of effective and efficient working processes for staff to follow.
