I am recruiting for an international infrastructure/engineering company who are looking to hire a Global Project Director to take responsibility for their Project and Installation teams.
In addition to management of the teams, the role will be to develop and establish a baseline Project Delivery Plan model for project delivery, centred around 4 key areas:
1. Identify any resource needs which will aid the development and delivery of a repeatable and scalable Project Execution Plan model;
2. Provide an exemplar model of Project leadership for existing Proof of Concept projects and emerging projects;
3. Provide a mentoring, training and development framework and be an exemplar for existing Project delivery organisation;
4. Review and provide guidance and support for existing problem-solving techniques.
It is offered with a package around £150K (negotiable).
The role is site-based in the Liverpool/Manchester area with foreign travel expected. If you are not based locally but are happy to live away during the week, then travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.
The successful candidate will have worked within the oil & gas, or water pipelines or similar within infrastructure, most likely in the EMEA countries, and have proven relevant experience of implementing PDPs.
