Lead a catering team in a UK-based trade and retail company's Watford location, serving approximately 350 people daily. Operate Monday to Thursday, 0700 - 1700, with free on-site parking.
* Manage day-to-day catering and hospitality, ensuring high standards and quality food.
* Liaise with clients and staff to deliver agreed objectives and goals.
* Develop and implement the members and staff dining and hospitality facilities, maintaining quality and customer service standards.
* Prepare and report on Profit & Loss Operating Statements.
* Develop the catering offer in line with client expectations and budgetary constraints.
* Assist in process changes, setting standards and motivating staff.
* Liaise with members and clients through customer interaction and relevant member forums.
* Deliver Food Services operations, including members/staff dining and hospitality.
* Create an environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, and a passion for service.
* Provide excellent food and customer service, responding to customers' needs.
* Develop the food offer in line with current market trends and Thomas Franks company values.
* Ensure age-appropriate food and special dietary requirements are met.
* Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with departments and team members.
* Ensure compliance with Thomas Franks Food & Beverage policies, standards, and procedures.
* Maintain and develop service standards in dining areas, including cleanliness and presentation.
* Have full knowledge of Clients Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Fire, and Accident procedures.
* Carry out effective induction, review, and development plans for staff and maintain records.
* Support rehabilitation activities and undertake reasonable duties as directed.
Essential:
* Proven experience of delivering excellent food standards.
* Hands-on Catering Manager leading the team in food production and service.
* Proven ability to communicate with clients and deliver agreed objectives and goals.
* Competent computer skills and knowledge of software, internet browsers, etc.
* High level of communication, including reading, writing, oral, and listening.
* Customer and personal service skills, with a proven track record of customer service achievements.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Analytical/critical thinking, ability to gather and organize information using logical and systematic processes.

Knowledge / competencies:
* Ability to demonstrate a good understanding and use of verbal English.

* Similar experience of customer and/or food preparation environment is essential.
* Hold a recognized cooking qualification, such as City & Guild 706/1 & 2 or equivalent.
* Hold a level 3 food Hygiene qualification.
