You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and fostering a positive and supportive working environment for your team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services, ensuring they meet the individual needs and preferences of clients. Implement and maintain robust quality assurance systems, conducting regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with CQC regulations and best practice. Develop and maintain effective care plans, risk assessments, and other relevant documentation. Monitor and respond to client feedback, addressing concerns and implementing improvements as necessary Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise care staff, fostering a positive and supportive team environment. Develop and implement effective staff rotas, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet client needs. Provide ongoing support and guidance to care staff, promoting their professional development. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies, including CQC standards. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring confidentiality and data protection. Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring value for money. Liaise with external agencies, including healthcare professionals, social services, and families. Contribute to the development and implementation of the service's business plan. Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities for service growth and development.Essential Requirements: A recognised degree or professional qualification in health or social care (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Health and Social Care Management). Proven experience in a management role within the domiciliary care sector. A thorough understanding of CQC regulations and best practice in domiciliary care. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle. Excellent IT skills.Desirable Requirements: Experience of managing budgets and resources.
