Job Title: SEN Tutor Job Duties: - Provide tailored support and guidance to students with special educational needs (SEN) - Develop and implement individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities - Deliver engaging and interactive tutoring sessions in various subjects, focusing on key areas of improvement - Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as needed - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive support network for students - Maintain accurate records of student achievements and areas for development Required Qualifications: - Relevant qualification in Special Education or related field - Knowledge of SEN support strategies and best practises - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles Experience: - Minimum of 2 years' experience working with students with SEN Knowledge and Skills: - Understanding of SEN regulations and policies - Ability to create inclusive and supportive learning environments - Proficiency in using various teaching resources and technologies Preferred Qualifications: - Additional certifications in SEN support - Experience in working with students across different age groups Working Conditions: - Part-Time hours, flexible schedule - Work mainly in educational settings such as schools or learning centres - Interaction with students, teachers, and parents on a regular basis - Potential travel within the region for student support All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
