About the opportunity:
1. Supervise and mentor the Assistant Land Buyer within the Land Team.
2. Build and maintain strong working relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners, and other developers within the Division’s geographical area, staying informed on current and emerging market opportunities.
3. Identify and assess potential sites for residential development that align with the Division’s strategic goals.
4. Collaborate with the Land Director to prepare accurate viability assessments in support of land offers.
5. Gather essential information, including ordinance survey records, flood risk assessments, tree protection orders, relevant planning data, and local policies.
6. Analyse and produce comprehensive development assessments, including build costs, market research, local planning policies, and technical details, to evaluate the potential success of a development.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £50k DOE. In addition to the basic salary, there will be further company benefits.
