Job Title: Experienced SEN Tutor

About the Role
As an SEN Tutor, you will work closely with students to deliver tailored lessons in Maths, English, or Functional Skills, ensuring their individual needs are met.
This flexible role allows you to work part-time, choosing from morning, afternoon, or evening sessions, making it ideal for someone who values meaningful work and enjoys creating positive outcomes for vulnerable learners.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver personalised one-to-one tutoring sessions in Maths, English, or Functional Skills.
* Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate the unique needs of students with SEN.
* Monitor and assess progress, providing regular updates to parents, guardians, and professionals.
* Build trusting relationships with students to boost their confidence and motivation.
* Collaborate with families and educational professionals to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience, including working with children with SEN.
* Experience teaching Maths, English, or Functional Skills.
* Right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undertake one).
* At least 6 months of UK education experience.
Desired Qualities
* PGCE in Maths or English and/or QTS.
* Extensive knowledge of SEN strategies and the ability to implement them effectively.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* A compassionate and adaptable teaching approach, with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for SEN learners.
