About the Position
The City Trees Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day delivery of street tree maintenance programs and works to promote tree growth, health, and survival, maintain compliance, and address requests for maintenance. Effective supervision of the City Trees operations team and contractors is a key component of the role to ensure delivery within timeframes, operational specifications, and compliance with work health and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
The duties of the City Trees Supervisor will include but are not limited to:
* Coordinate and supervise the City Trees operations team in the delivery of proactive and reactive tree maintenance programs.
* Investigate and resolve customer enquiries, requests, and feedback.
* Ensure contractor compliance to safety, timeframes, and operational specifications.
About You
The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes, you could still be a perfect fit for this role. Please apply; all applications will be considered.
* Certificate 3 in Arboriculture or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience in staff and contractor supervision.
* Extensive experience in tree management.
* Good understanding of current arboricultural practices.
* Sound understanding of occupational health and safety principles.

This permanent full-time position is a Level 7 Inside Workforce Agreement position which attracts a salary from $96,731.43 gross pro rata per annum plus superannuation.
To be eligible to work for us, you need to provide, or have the ability to obtain:
* A copy of Australian driving licence.
* National Police Clearance (valid within the last 3 months).
* Pre-Employment Medical and DAS clearance.
* The right to work in Australia.
