Job Overview To lead the development, implementation, expansion and ongoing progression of all apprenticeships across all professions and at all levels across the organisation. To maximise the organisations Apprenticeship levy by leading on the creation and delivery of apprenticeship plans, in line with the Trusts learning needs analysis, including the commissioning and procuring apprenticeship development programmes. To take the operational lead for apprenticeships acting as a guide, advisor and consultant to leaders and mangers across the organisation using apprenticeship development as part of workforce transformation. To work with the Head of Education and Practice Development and Organisational Development lead on the application of apprenticeships and support staff development as part of the staff workforce development strategy. Main duties of the job Take the lead for expansion of apprenticeships across the organisation through raising the profile and promotion of apprenticeships. Act as the main account holder for the Digital Apprenticeship service, monitor and report financial data to the Deputy Head of education and practice development and support with any other reports to the Trust board. Responsible for the apprenticeship levy allocation and spend. Line management of apprenticeship administrators. Maximise the use of the apprenticeship levy through effective planning and provision of resources. Interpret data from the digital apprenticeships service and produce reports to monitor progress of learners, programmes and Levy expenditure. Ensure the Digital Apprenticeship service is being used effectively and appropriately. Responsible for the quality assurance of the apprenticeship provision in terms of success, retention and progression and for the development and extension of apprenticeship programmes. Monitors candidate progression, identifies and escalates risks against Levy spend and candidate non-completions. Supports departmental managers in the application of apprenticeship programmes, off the job training requirements, supports end point assessment and supports learners in practice. Responsible for full data management and entry using the apprenticeship service system. Produces bespoke reports as required by the organisation.
