With a very healthy order book for the coming 12 months, they are now recruiting for a highly skilled andexperienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Job Overview:
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and commercial management of M&E projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review construction information (Contract Documents)
* Review and understand tender information and tender Bills of Quantities
* Prepare Cost Plans in-line with Commercial Standard Operating Procedure
* Report on Cost Plans monthly internally, highlighting any potential issues
* Procure all major supplier and sub-contractor packages in-line with Commercial SOP
* Prepare & Submit Monthly Interim Valuations
* Prepare/ Submit Sub-Contract documents to Sub-Contractors in-line with Commercial SOP
* Issue all Main Contract Documents / Collateral Warranties up the line for review
* Track Labour hours on each project and highlight any potential issues
* Audit Sub-Contractor applications for payment (Valuations) and prepare pay-less notices to each where applicable
* Audit sub-contractor variations monthly
* Review Site Programmes regularly with respect to delays, disruption and programme
* Attend internal and external commercial meetings as required
* Respond to all letters in a fitting and contractual manner to ensure the companies position is always protected
* Create and maintain Sharepoint document management system as appropriate
* Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.

Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years' experience as an M&E Quantity Surveyor
- Good knowledge of construction contracts and commercial management
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Proficient in using MS Office and cost management software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
