The post holder will be responsible for supporting our Breast Service with operational management and the efficient delivery of services within Parapet Unit at King Edwards Hospital, Windsor and Frimley Park Hospital.
The role is cross site between Parapet and Frimley Park Hospital. The main base will be Parapet but travel across sites will be expected.
The post holder will support planning and coordination, including RTT and Cancer pathways and assist with delivering improvement plans within Breast Service at both sites. Where required, the post holder will initiate and implement recovery actions for performance, working closely with the Deputy Operations Manager to provide analysis of performance and activity planning.
The post holder will lead the development and management of working practices within the admin and performance functions to ensure the delivery of an efficient and responsive service, encompassing new initiatives, policies and procedural changes and processes.

• Service Management and Performance
Ensuring the service meets all national and local targets by regularly monitoring clinic and theatre capacity. Co-ordinate Breast clinicians rota across Parapet and Frimley. Support Directorate by ensuring high standards of administration and data quality are achieved at all times. Ensure good communication links and processes between team members and training gaps are identified and supported.
• People Leadership
Direct line management of the administration Team at Parapet, challenging poor processes or performance. Ensure that all Trust policies and procedures are communicated effectively to staff and acted upon.
