Data Analyst
Salary – £26,734 – £33,417 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week, 8.30am to 5.00pm
Location Postcode – HU10 6TS
As a Data Analyst, you will provide administrative support to the management team, ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner, and enquiries are resolved effectively. You will be expected to assist in other finance areas to cover staff absences and busy periods.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week, however, we will consider requests for job shares to suit your lifestyle (working full days).

What will you be doing?
- Collation, creation and preparation of data for reporting purposes by using all available resources
- Seek continuous improvement by re-assessing processes and best practices concerned with data
- Create new and useful reports to assist the management of the business
- Support the Management Accountant in preparing journals for accruals and other month-end financial entries
- Undertake “Commercial Manager” role in SAP which is the first level matching of supplier invoices
- Act as key liaison between suppliers, purchase order raisers and the Doncaster payables team to ensure supplier invoices are processed on a timely basis
- Answering telephones
- Data entry
- Accuracy of record-keeping
- Achievement of individual objectives
- Completion of activities on the 12-month plan / last appraisal
What we are looking for?
- Knowledge of accounts processing, debits and credits
- Good working knowledge of Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to hit deadlines
- Able to work as part of a team and on your own
- Analytical and problem solving
