Job Title: PPA Teacher
Location: North West England, Lancashire, Skelmersdale
Job Type: Contract, Part-Time
Salary: £12.90 - £14.50 Per hour
Job Duties:
Deliver planned lessons during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time for teachers
Ensure a stimulating, engaging, and safe learning environment
Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
Assess and record student progress
Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Relevant teaching qualification
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a classroom
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional training in special education or inclusive teaching practises
Experience working with children with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
Part-time hours as per the contract
Work in a primary school setting in Skelmersdale
Collaborate with teaching staff and school leadership

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
