Process Engineer - Carbon Capture We're searching for a dynamic individual to lead the development and design of cutting-edge carbon capture technology. This combines geomimicry with electrochemistry with the aim to accelerate both the speed and scale of carbon capture and sequestration. Responsibilities for the Process Engineer Lead the design and commissioning of carbon capture processes Oversee scale-up of equipment from lab to commercial scales Simulate and evaluate chemical reactions and processes Conduct experiments to validate and integrate reaction chemistry and process design Design and manage the installation and operation of lab and pilot plant equipment Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop innovative solutions Perform data analysis to identify and correct process deviations Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders Maintain process documentation, including SOPs and engineering drawings Identify and implement opportunities for innovation and process improvement Promote a culture of safety and sustainability Requirements for the Process Engineer Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial research and process scale-up Experience in industries such as cement, concrete, paints, coatings, mining, pharmaceuticals, food processing, hydrogen or carbon capture Understanding of drying, powder, mineralisation or ceramics Ability to develop safe and economical processes for material handling and separation Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Experience managing projects and ensuring timelines and budgets are met Passion for fighting climate change and optimizing chemical processes If you are interested in this Process Engineer role then please apply with an up to date CV to the button below.
