A primary school in the BL3 area is currently looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated individual for the role of SEN Support Assistant to help create engaging educational experiences for children across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role would begin after the Easter break on the 22nd of April and would run until the end of the academic year. The school prides itself on providing a happy, nurturing, and stimulating environment where all pupils recognize and achieve their fullest academic and personal potential.
Within this role, you will be expected to support pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, encourage positive behaviour, and work together with other SEN Support Assistants and class teachers. You will get involved in the pupils’ learning of foundation subjects (maths and English) and support those pupils with additional needs.
